About

TreeServe Pty Ltd began operations in Smitheld NSW by the Harris family in 1996.  Its former name was Sydney Metro Tree Services.

A sustained effort for exceptional service by family members Len, Nick, Glen, David and subsequent managers including long term industry professionals Rob Fisher and Dirk Wolhoff, has ensured rapid and continuous growth within the tree industry. In the early 2000’s management essentially phased out all domestic tree work in order to focus solely on Government & Asset Management contracts. We found this strategy to be both rewarding and necessary as our entire company, from onsite crew to administration and systems, now enjoys an established and aligned focus on the many specific needs of those unique clients.

Continuous and rapid growth saw the company move its operations to a large (12 acre) purpose-built tree & vegetation recycling depot adjacent to the M7 and M4 Motorway on Wallgrove Road, Horsley Park. The property consists of 46,000m2 of usable land and enjoys DA approval for its tree contracting operations as well as for the storage, processing, sales and distribution of related by-products

In 2005 Sydney Metro Tree Services purchased Sydney’s largest firewood company Betta Burn Firewood. This acquisition ensured Sydney Metro Tree Services can effectively and efficiently recycle large quantities of tree related by-products.

Recent growth into powerline vegetation management has enabled Sydney Metro Tree Services to consolidate a strong platform for future growth & stability within the tree industry.

With quality long term government clients and an ongoing commitment to exceptional service, our company is proud of its achievements and equally excited about its future.
